Archived and Hidden Recording Projects and Sessions

In CueDB, you can hide completed recording projects and sessions in two ways:

Archiving

When a recording project or session is archived, it becomes hidden from all members of the project. This option is best used when a recording project/session is fully completed. Please note that only the recording project owner and administrators are granted permissions to archive projects and sessions.

Hiding

This option hides the recording project only from your view. This is useful if you wish to declutter your workspace but don't have the authority to archive the project or if you want to keep the project out of sight without leaving it entirely. Please note that you cannot hide single sessions, only an entire recording project can be hidden.

The "Show / Hide" toggle is a common feature throughout various interfaces in CueDB. This convenient switch allows you to quickly change the visibility of different elements across the platform. Whether it's on the dashboard, projects page or recording session views, look for this toggle to customize your display settings as needed.

Access Archived and Hidden Recording Projects

To access an archived recording project most efficiently, we recommend using the Spotlight feature. Simply open up the Spotlight search window and start typing the name of the recording project you're looking for. This function allows you to swiftly navigate through your projects from wherever you are in the app.

To view all recording projects and sessions, regardless of whether they're archived or hidden, use the 'Show / Hide' toggle as detailed above. This will ensure that no sessions ar excluded from your view.

A swift way to archive a recording project or session without using the 'Show / Hide' toggle is to select 'Archive Recording Project/Session' from the dropdown menu. If you wish to hide recording projects from your view, this can only be done via the respective checkboxes.
